Rules and Regulations for Vocational & Professional Students

All newly admitted students of Vocational and Professional Courses are hereby informed that it is mandatory to follow the rules and regulations mentioned below in order to be properly integrated into the college system and maintain academic discipline

  1. College ID card and Library Card :
    1. Every student must carry their college-issued ID card at all times.
    2. To access the library, Library Registration is compulsory.
  2. Attendance :
    1. A minimum of 75% attendance is mandatory for all students.
    2. Students with low attendance may be barred from internal assessments and final examinations.
  3. Class Timetable and Academic Schedule :
    1. The class timetable will be displayed on the department notice board.
    2. StudenStudents must attend classes punctually and regularly.
  4. Dress Code (Uniform Guidelines) :
    1. A prescribed dress code is applicable in every department.
    2. All students are required to wear the designated uniform daily while attending college.
    3. Violating the dress code will be treated as an act of indiscipline.
  5. Use of Electronic Devices :
    1. The use of mobile phones, laptops, or any electronic gadgets for non-academic purposes in the classroom is strictly prohibited.
    2. Such devices may only be used with faculty permission for academic use.
  6. Exams and Internal Assessment :
    1. Students must participate in unit tests, assignments, practicals, and internal exams as per the schedule.
    2. Internal performance directly impacts eligibility for final exams.
  7. Anti-Ragging Regulations :
    1. Ragging is strictly prohibited on campus.
    2. Strict disciplinary action will be taken against any student found guilty of ragging, as per university norms.
  8. Discipline and Code of Conduct :
    1. Students must maintain proper discipline and uphold the decorum of the institution.
    2. Misconduct, abusive behavior, or damage to college property will result in disciplinary action, including possible suspension or expulsion.
  9. Communication Channel :
    1. Students must join the official department WhatsApp / Telegram group.
    2. All notices regarding classes, holidays, exams, and other important updates will be shared via these groups.
